Never To Late - Dawn

READ FOR PLOT!

Dawn is dealing with Buffy's death the only way she knows how, remembering. She's taking it rather hard and it's slowly killing her, but no one seems to realize it. Dawn, in a rebellios state, learns to fight the forces of darkness to make up for Buffy being gone.

When Buffy comes back, Dawn's relieved, thinking that the memories of her death and all the times before will stop. But Buffy is not happy and her and Dawn aren't getting along. Dawn's mental state is slowly deteriorating and she reveals to Buffy that she slept with a guy while Buffy was dead, proceeding to breakdown in Buffy's arms shortly afterward.

After Buffy comforts her, she gets a lecture about rash decisions and Dawn feels hurt that Buffy is so angry. Dawn doesn't think Buffy came back right and believes that she caused all of the pain and anger inside of Buffy, so, feeling lost and alone, Dawn tries to kill herself.

Buffy realizes how horrible she's been acting towards Dawn and tries to comfort the younger girl, but the damage has already been done and Dawn is stuck in her memories of the night Buffy died and how she's not even real in the first place.
