Nagerbazar Explosion: Death Toll Turns 2

The Nagerbazar blast death toll increased with the death of fruit seller Ajit Halder. He was admitted in R G Kar hospital in a critical condition. He was among the injured in Nagerbazar blast.

An eight-year-old boy and his mother have been killed and at least eight persons are injured in a crude bomb blast in Dumdum in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district on Tuesday, police said.

The blast, which took place around 9 a.m., ripped through adjacent shops, shattered window panes of nearby houses and damaged the pedestrian walk, eyewitnesses said.
