Naam Shabana - Official Trailer 2017

Naam Shabana is an upcoming 2017 Indian action spy thriller film directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia under the Friday Filmworks banner. The film is a spin-off to Taapsee's character from the 2015 film Baby.

Gulshan Kumar in association with Cape of Good Films presents a Friday Filmworks Production, Neeraj Pandey's Naam Shabana directed by Shivam Nair.

The trailer of the much-anticipated Naam Shabana is out, and Taapsee Pannu kills with more than her looks. Prequel to the 2015 hit Baby, Naam Shabana traces the induction of Shabana (Taapsee) into the secret service, her training and her intriguing covert operations.

Taapsee's training in mixed martial arts helps her look convincing in kicking butt. The trailer is crisp and high on drama - it begins with Shabana in happier times with her boyfriend until an incident changes everything, and makes Shabana fierce and unstoppable. Akshay Kumar makes an appearance as the agent who trains Shabana to take on the world's most wanted with ease.

Akshay had shared the film's poster earlier this month on Twitter with the caption: Shabana reminds me of a quote, "The only time a woman is helpless is when her nail polish is drying!"

Manoj Bajpayee plays Shabana's handler, while Anupam Kher reprises his role of Om Prakash Shukla. Naam Shabana is set to hit screens on March 31, 2017.
