My Ghost Story

My Aunts House

Growing up I didn't really believe in God or really any of that stuff. I did enjoy being scared and I watched a lot of ghost shows growing up. Family wasn't to religious so l had free reign and say on a lot of things. This was however until the night at my aunts house.

My aunt had called my mom saying she was out of oil for her furnace. This was probably sometime in December their wasn't a lot of snow on the ground but it was cold. So my mom says sure. Me, dad and ma hop in the car go to town get the oil and bring it back to her house.
At this point it's like 7PM pitch black out. So dad says I'm gonna run around back and start putting the oil in. So me and my aunt go in the house. Now when you walk into her house there's immediately 2 flights of stairs. 1 to the basement the other up to her living space. I walk up to the top and I'm ahead of her so I put my back against the wall to let her pass.

She walks by me and goes down the main hallway to my left. She walks all the way down to the end of the hall and walks through my cousins door. The door is completely shut and she just passes right through the thing. I'm kinda just standing their confused and my other cousin she's sitting on the couch
right across from the hallway and she sees the exact same thing. She starts calling out "ma, ma... ma?" I'm like okay this is weird I'm gonna go out and see how dads doing on the oil.

I walk outside around back he's still putting the oil in. Then I see my aunt standing on the balcony in the back. I'm like, "What were you doing in Stephanie's room?" She says "I wasn't in Stephanie's room." I'm like, “yeah you were me and April seen you.” She swears up and down that she didn't go down the hallway. She said I walked into the house and came out here onto the balcony. Like if you walk up her stairs and keep going straight there's a door that leads to the balcony in the back. But we never seen her do that.

Thinking back on it after it had happened I realized that whatever it was. It was in her shape or form or whatever right, but it was black. Jet black. I was like 12 maybe 13 at
the time. Never seen anything like it before and nothing like it since.
My aunt says her house is haunted tho. For years she's been seeing this guy with a cowboy hat standing at the bottom of her bed sometimes at night. She just yells and screams at him to get the fuck out. So I don't know honestly. But that night made me believe that there's something else out there.
