Mum Becomes Model After Going Grey

A former nursery school teacher has become a globe-trotting model at the age of 47….thanks to her grey hair.
Rachel Peru spent three decades and $40,000 dying her silver hair brown after she went grey at the age of just 13.
Rachel sent pictures of herself off to dozens of UK modelling agencies and was snapped up just over a year ago, even though she is a size 16 and just 5ft 7ins.
She has now modelled alongside U.S plus size sensation Ashley Graham in the Bahamas and headed a Tesco F&F activewear campaign with fitness guru Davina McCall.
