Zagar multi-axis machine station for automatic production drilling and tapping of holes, and light milling or trimming. Use of standard, modular components enables application specific lengths of X & Y axis travel. Zagar standard, ball screw actuated, quill feed units are applied to the cutting tool feed or Z axis with optional 6 to 14" travel lengths and from 1 to 15 HP spindle motors. Turn-key controls are supplied by Zagar Inc.The feed and spindle motor axis are synchronized for CNC rigid tapping cycles.
