This video was inspired by the vid Sonny Liston, "A Man" an excellent profile of both Sonny Liston the man and the standout boxer and champion, done by youtube user sonnyliston07. You can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jZ6e4... . Check it out, it's worth watching.
Upon seeing it, I came up with an idea to do a similar tribute for Muhammad Ali, with the premise being that an Ali fan watching during Ali's disasterous match with Larry Holmes has multiple flashbacks to Ali's glory days in the 60s and 70s. Hence why all the past clips are in black and white, and all the "current" ones with Holmes are in color.
Music used: Shawshank Redemption theme (Brooks Was Here)
Some of the other fighters appearing in this video include: Holmes, Liston, Cleveland Williams, Karl Mildenberger, Archie Moore, Zora Foley, Brian London, Henry Cooper, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Jurgen Blin, and Jerry Quarry.
