Description
Mtiuluri – Mtiuluri is a group comprising Georgian dances based on similar techniques (a whole family of bending techniques, thumb and knee techniques, turns, techniques involving jumps). This dance born in Georgian mountains with its idea and choreographic outline reflects the strict and severe atmosphere characteristic to the life in mountains; it is well perceived in dynamism and preciseness of the dance movements. It comprises complex, rich and diverse techniques very well combined with the male appearance and his heroic spirit. Similarly to the other Georgian dances the roots of Mtiuluri dances trace far back to the ancient historical past.
