Description
I think what we can expect in season three is that loyalties will be tested. Our third season is really special in that the tone is a mix of the first and second season, when we go through a very fast paced plot driven first season into a very intricate layered second season, and then you layer in really great dark humour, it has made for a great evolution into what this show is, something that I think everyone's going to be very excited by this year.
Getting the opportunity to work with Bobby Cannavale for this third season has only upped our game, we've wanted to bring in a very powerful actor, someone who has gravitas and can also bring levity to the show. We have a very dark show at times and moments of levity that Bobby brings have such a strong impact because they strike such a great balance with how emotional and how chaotic and turbulent this show can be.
In season three Elliot is awake, figuratively and literally, Elliot's becoming more of a man, taking responsibility for his actions. He has found some way to live without Mr. Robot, and is kind of torn about his existence without Mr. Robot, and thus begins some very existential questions for him.
Elliot relies on Angela in season three to help him put the missing pieces of the puzzle back together, I think as he is evolving and maturing he really invests in his childhood best friend, for the first time we see Elliot less paranoid about who he can trust, from there he thinks a very strong relationship is going to continue and evolve.
These characters as a whole are relentlessly motivated and ambitious, and the side they choose whether it be good or evil has no jurisdiction over what someone will do to get what they want, and that results in a very epic battle from each and every one of these characters.
