What story just gets better, there's always that shock value, people are just going to love Leon even more.
This season is pretty crazy, Leon is gonna be different because more things will be revealed about him, it allows for like almost a new perspective to be had on Leon. I love that he's mysterious, he plays such a pivotal role on the show but there's not really much you know about his background.
Leon likes Elliot a lot, I think it's going to become even more evident in season three. Leon will do whatever he can to help Elliot do what he's supposed to, despite what his ulterior motives may be, he has a love and respect for Elliot, they're pretty much on the same wavelength.
After we shot season two, there was this article that came out, and Sam revealed that he had this idea of myself Joey Bada$$ playing Leon since season one. Like he knew right away, once he seen me he wanted me to play this character, you know that blew my mind, because, it's beautiful, like that's a blessing to have a character specifically tailored for you, I'm honoured.
My first day on set, I found myself talking to Sam, Rami and Christian. If you're feeling nervous or if you're feeling like a little bit unsure, Sam is always there to like, you know, talk to, and Rami and Christian these are like two very talented dudes, to be in their company my first time on film I wanted to be at their level, it was very intimidating to have Christian Slater and Rami Malek, and this is your first time on film and TV, go.
