Morocco: MSCI downgrades Casablanca

Al Qarra - The MSCI has published its annual reclassification and has downgraded Morocco. Citing a lack of liquidity, the equity index measuring the performance of emerging market countries decided to demote the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

From November, the Moroccan financial sector will no longer be represented in the MSCI Emerging Markets.
