Morgan Rees covers Solar Impluse at NASA

Morgan Rees covers a huge first for aviation; a solar powered plane named the Solar Impulse took off from Moffett Field in Mountain View, Calif., to start the first leg of a pioneering cross-country flight. Solar Impulse has demonstrated that a solar-powered airplane can fly day and night without fuel by energy from the sun! Its purpose was to demonstrate the feasibility of the program.
