Mikael Ejdemyr - biography

Was searching with my beak a long while
for an aperture in the fence to come through
but there wasn’t any


so I crept into the bird house
and stayed there for many years


thereafter I came out again
and circulate now in peaceful disquiet
high above the cold lake of dreams


yelling gulls are keeping me company
