Midnights Voice - Dog Lashing

Strong winds are howling
Like hungry wolves prowling
Lightning striking from far, far away

Limbs off and a snapping
The shingles to backing
Snapping at you with libelous say

A dog that's lashing
His words are trashing
Good poet who's pure in way

God is a witness
And he insists this
For sins you will surely pay

Strong winds are howling
By then avowing
the winds are turning it's sway

Soon a mistaken
Comes the awaken
When they come to take you away
