In the night I cried out to you,
But you didn’t hear me.
In the night I tried to find you,
But I couldn’t see.
In the night I screamed out in horror,
Because I felt fear closing in on me.
In the night I disappeared,
Because the shadows swallowed me.
In the night I faded,
Because I became an old memory,
In the night I was lost,
An I shall remain in the night forever.
In the night I cried out to you,
But you didn’t hear me.
