Michelle Hyde - Hidden Suicide

I feel rejected,
Hated and neglected.
An escape is all I ask,
As I tear off my mask.
Golden light shines into this place,
Caressing my warn down face.
Death is calling my name;
I take a dagger to my vein.
Death has won;
I shall never see the morning sun.
Then I wake,
Screaming, “Is this my fate? ”
