Michel'le - Nicety

Michel'le was one of the more interesting R&B singers of the late 80s and early 90s, the Los Angeles native was known for having a squeaky, high-pitched speaking voice and an aggressive, full-bodied soulful voice. She was the featured female vocalist on the song by the hip-hop/electro/r&B group World Class Wreckin' Cru, 'Turn Off The Lights' in 1987. She released her self-titled debut album, which was produced by then boyfriend Dr Dre of N.W.A. The album contained the songs 'No More Lies', 'Nicety', 'Keep Watching', 'If?', 'Something in My Heart' and 'Close To Me'. She was also featured in the West Coast All-Stars anti-violence song, 'We're All In The Same Gang' in 1990. Michel'le's second album, Hung Jury, released in 1998 and produced by Suge Knight for Death Row Records. Her most recent musical outings to date was a cameo appreance on 'Let's Play House' a single by Snoog Dogg, and singing background vocals on the Dysfunktional Family soundtrack in 2003.
