One moment Lord without You
Would leave me feeling sad
Could lead to things I shouldn’t do
And make the devil glad

One moment left without Your love
Would leave me in despair
Could leave the thought Life’s Way above
Was mine no more to share

One moment left without You
I know I’d truly hate
The world could change my distant view
And love would dissipate

One moment’s sounds ten million years
Of misery and dread
Lonely till Your cloud appears
To raise me from the dead

The thought my God brings sorrow
Brings pain I’ve never known
Just thinking of tomorrow
Before the judgement throne

Please go nowhere without me
Take firm Your servant’s hand
Remain my God that I may see
And dwell Your Promised Land

Remain my God and never leave
Relieve me of my fears
Without Your love I’d ever grieve
Whilst shedding countless tears

One moment Lord, how could I stand?
How could I smile again?
Without us walking hand in hand
Would make my life in vain
