MERRY CHRISTMAS

A boy comes home from a holiday, excited to see his parents. He wants to surprise them, but when he arrives, the house is empty. His parents are not home.
He walks inside, a little confused, but then he sees it—a Christmas tree, decorated and sparkling in the living room. His eyes widen in amazement.
Under the tree, there are so many gifts, stacked high and wrapped in shiny paper. He runs toward the tree, excited beyond words, touching the presents and laughing softly.
Even though no one is home, the boy feels a strange joy, as if the tree and the gifts are welcoming him back.
