Mentally challenged boy chained for 8 years in Muzzaffarnagar

Muzzafarnagar, Apr 06 (ANI): A mentally unstable boy in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district has been chained by his father for the past eight years. Shavrez Alam has been mentally ill from his birth. Alam’s father said it is painful to see his son in this condition and no government official has come forward to help them. The boy has been examined by many doctors, but Alam has not been cured. With the passing time, the boy has become violent and thrashes people around.
