Melissa Koeman - My confusion

It gets more confusing everyday
Nothing feels right
Don’t know what to believe anymore
Don’t know if I should care anymore
Sometimes I wonder who I really am
I see myself in the mirror
But the reflection is empty…
I’m tired of living in my own world
Tired off it all
I am silent all these years
Silent about my confusion and sadness
I just cannot explain these feelings
But they get to me every time
I build a wall around me to keep people outside
Created a world within myself
But there’s no place where I can hide
The reality always catches up with me
Sometimes I hope that this is just all a dream
And that I wake up someday
