I should write to her,
At least tell I am alive,
Tell her, those notes have saved my life,
Those letters have kept me going,
And the taste of sushi makes me smile…

I should write a thousand pages,
Of how actually this moment feels like,
Of facing the last stretch of this chapter,
But, she knows…

I should at least write an email,
But it would turn into a novel,
And the sentences would be so jumbled,
The reply would be along the lines,
‘YOU need to Detox off coffee babe- After exams though froog’
And sent with her love and her best wishes…

I should write a poem,
And then it can be kept, dated and remembered,
When I, her little blonde protégée,
Survived this last and final year,
And both could celebrate the bliss of the rewards,
Of bloody hard work…
