Please world don’t be too harsh,
On this boy I love so much,
I know the truth is hurting and I lie to heal the wound,
But when the crunch comes closer, it is he that will burn.

Please chance be nearer, to the chances of good luck,
The outlook may surprise me, but for now, all fear but plagues me.
I know I have no control over another man’s soul,
But if I could pause this world, or visit the prospects to become,
Maybe I would know if my placidness on the matter,
Won’t be as harmful on him as some.

Please sadness not plague us, as it hurts too hearts not one,
May neither mind be in denial, of what is, and what will ensue.
I know I’m too stubborn to hold off too long from the skies of higher needs,
But if I could prevent this one pup from drowning,
Then maybe the real world of knowledge will be his favoured bone at last.
