The essence of Sikh teaching is summed up by the founder of the Sikh faith,Guru Nanak in this quote: ” Realization of Truth is higher than all else. Higher still is truthful living.” In the spirit of goodwill and Seva (service), Jagriti TV will host online interviews and programs which will explore how Sikhs practice their faith in their daily lives. Jagriti TV will also seek to educate both young and old on how to stay true to the Sikh faith which is famous for its belief in the equality of all humans and rejects discrimination on the basis of Caste, Creed and Gender. According to the Sikh teachings, there is only One God and Creator and we can serve him best by living a truthful life, offering Seva (service) to our community and remembering God’s name each day.
