Those were the days,

Happiness our shroud,

Our protective,

But grey cloud.



Those were the days,

That seemed so free,

Overflowing with

That luscious beauty.



These are the days,

So filled with you.

Feelings still here,

Passion, love and rue.



These are the days,

That all seem like night,

The dark part,

With no good light.



These are the days,

That we all yearn,

Dont get what we need,

Nobody will learn.



There will be days,

I promise you,

So many to come,

Happiness too.



There will be days,

Happiness returned,

All regrets,

May be burned.



There will be days,

Where you wont be alone,

Wandering this Earth,

Without a home.



There will be days,

Of love and friends,

Where the contentment,

Never ends.
