A graduate of McIntire School of Commerce, Chad Chad Kagen holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in International Business. He later went on to study at George Washington University where he earned an M.S. in Economics, an M.S. in Decision Sciences. Before becoming the serial entrepreneur that he is today, Kagen began his professional career as a financial analyst for mergers and acquisitions at New York City’s Blackstone Group. Shortly thereafter, Kagen pursued his unwavering entrepreneurial spirit and dove headfirst into the world of investment.

Throughout his career, Chad Kagen led many prominent business ventures. Some notable include his Chicago-based technology-driven firm, Obsidian Capital Group, in addition to Vertu Equity, an investment company that focused on algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies. Later in his career, Kagen became Managing Partner of Magic Worx Partners, a transmedia finance and advisory company; and later launched Kagen Interests, a company that coordinated acquisitions and portfolio investments.

Chad Kagen now devotes his time to three thriving companies, Goldfinger International Inc, Moonshot Inc, and Whizbang Inc. As a trusted CEO and one of the most respected entrepreneurs in the world of finance, Chad’s career has taken him all over the world. With over 10 years of experience under his belt, Chad has continuously revolutionized traditional processes within the finance industry. He has effectively combined personal experience and a network of elite professionals to establish, operate, and expand enterprises across a multitude of industries.
