Chad Crowson is a dedicated educational leader based in Houston, Texas, with many years of experience. Mr. Crowson is passionate about teaching and has worked to provide students with the best education possible. He believes that teaching and mentoring young people is essential and ensures that each student receives the education that best works for them. Chad recognizes that all students come from many varied backgrounds and have a range of skill levels and strengths. Chad Crowson has dedicated his career to setting high academic expectations for every student while providing educational and social-emotional support.

Before beginning his career in education, Chad Crowson received his undergraduate degree in Government to prepare for his continued education at law school. He attended the University of Houston Law Center to complete his degree in law in 2011. While attending law school, Chad began working in education, starting as a Teacher’s Aide. He soon began working as a teacher for 10th Grade Geometry and as a Teach For America Member. After one year, Mr. Crowson went on to work as an 8th Grade History Teacher. Chad continued to learn about teaching, classroom management, and communication in his teaching roles.

Although Chad Crowson completed his law degree and became a licensed attorney with the Texas State Bar, which he remains today, Chad has continued to learn and dedicate his career to education. While working as a teacher, Mr. Crowson took on various leadership and administrative roles, including Campus Performance Objective Committee (CPOC) Member, Campus Testing Coordinator, Instructional Technology Coach, and University Interscholastic League Campus Coordinator.

Chad Crowson decided to further his education to prepare himself to begin taking on more leadership and administrative roles. In 2011, Chad received a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. He began working as an Assistant Principal at Lomax Junior High before taking on the same role at a high school in 2012. As an Assistant Principal, Mr. Crowson worked to motivate his staff and help them improve teaching processes to develop progressive, student-focused lessons.

Now, Chad Crowson works as a Principal of a Houston high school where he works to ensure that each student receives the best education possible. He has successfully updated the staff’s instructional practices to create a Professional Learning Community (PLC) that is focused on the individual success of each student.
