Made on location at Ancient & Modern (London), 22nd August 2013 – featured in artist/hair-stylist Daniel Kelly's 4 week long project 'DKUK'.

'DKUK' saw Kelly invite a wide range of artists and practitioners to construct, perform and develop new and existing artwork's on-site, utilising the context of the hairdressing salon; as a place for conversation and dialogue to happen.

MEDUSA placed the visitor centre stage. Through the wearing of a bespoke hairdressing cape fabricated from chroma key (green screen) fabric. Throughout the day each haircut was documented on video, whilst a selection of specially chosen video's were played and viewed (in lieu of the traditional salon mirror) – exploring the subject of the Spanish island of Lanzarote (Canary Islands) with specific reference to its national artist Cesar Manrique, and its cementing as a major holiday destination for the British public since the establishment of the package holiday in the 1960-70's. The documented (cutting) footage was manipulated in post-production, featuring a reworked version of the 1992 BMW promotional documentary surrounding Cesar Manrique and the commissioned 7 series 'Art Car'.

Daniel was invited to change his outfit with every cut administered; optioned from an adjacent hanging rail featuring a selection of his own wardrobe.
