Maya nCloth Truck Roll

Created by www.speffects.com, this animation was entirely done with nCloth. It is a basic animation with complex principals. The truck is rigid enough to roll down the hill and maintain its shape, but soft enough to get dented. A more advanced version of this animation would be to separate the truck into different nCloth objects for greater control. Having all the vertices share the same basic properties, (regardless of painting attributes) results in unwanted deformations. This can be seen in the tires towards the end of the animation.
