Mauritius has declared a state of environmental emergency after a grounded Japanese-owned ship began spilling tonnes of oil.
A volunteer and residents of Mauritius are working around the clock trying to reduce the damage to the Indian Ocean island from an oil spill after a ship ran aground on a coral reef and ship hull are crack.
