Massive Waves Hit Irish Coast

Waves of 25 meters with wind speeds of over 100mph were reported off the coast of Kinsale in Cork, Ireland on February 12. This video, filmed at the Old Head Golf Links, Kinsale, shows the waves crashing against the coast. Ireland experienced severe weather with power cuts in several areas and many properties damaged. Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan said the initial €70m funding allocated for storm damage will need to be reassessed. Credit: Jon Mumford
