Basking Sharks Off Irish Coast

Andrew O’Riordan filmed this amazing footage of basking sharks off the coast of Cork on May 29. Andrew was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease in 2011 and when in hospital created a bucket list of things he’d like to do, including swimming with basking sharks. After entering remission Andrew has started work on completing his bucket list, and after filming these sharks he put down the camera and went for a well-deserved swim with them.
