Sometime you're a wonder
Sometimes you are gruesome
You're often used in thrillers
And associated with killers

Your appearance in youth
Was fickle and fun
I had a sense of fright
But never a fear that you might bite

You've got me lined in silk
I'm hinged at the bed
Heart racing, bones shaking
I'm a victim in the making

In the web of your arms
I cannot win
No wonder you're pinned with a status of sin
The more I move
The less I am free
