You never told me you hated me
You always told me you loved me
I thought you would never break my heart
You lied and broke me
My heart was shattered the pain I felt was you
Walking down the hall you never looked at me the same
My love for you had never been so weak
When you first told me that you hated me
I broke down I didn’t believe you
But when I saw you with her, not giving me the time of day
I knew then love is never real if you’re ashamed of me
Around your friends, I didn’t exist
Around my friend’s I did
You were my first and you were ashamed of me
You showed me to keep my heart closed
