Today I know something
Something that not to many people know
People don’t think about it
Until now
I stop and think
About what has happened
About the time we spent together
As I think
I look
At the stone
That says your name
I think about what we last said
I know your in a better place
I know today what I lost
I know what you were to me
Today I know I have lost my best friend
Today I know what the future will be like
I know many people don’t know what they have until they lose it
I stare at the stone
I tell you goodbye
I look at your grave one last time
Before I go
I put the flower I have on
On your grave
Then I slowly walk away
