It is hot,
but I am so cold within -

It is muggy
but all I feel is
my cold, damp skin -

the soul is
weary and worn,
my coat is thin
to the coming storm -

tension keeps
building, progression
of a blizzard
is chilling -

My December has arrived
in this hot month of July
