Marilyn Shepperson - Alone
1 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
Under the street lamps of the town
While a rainbow of neon lights
Were reflected in puddles on the ground
Grining self consciously, we tried to miss
All the cracks in the paving stones
Not hurrying to our desination
As we didn't really have one
Yet eventually we turned for home
But my compaions did not mind
After all, my friends were only my thoughts
