I just love a day when all
The trees are laced with frost
A picture perfect scene
When all ugliness is lost

Sparkles that sit on everything
Creates a winter wonderland
It’s magical don’t you think?
A white brush in nature’s hand

We look upon this picture
And wonder how it can be
How can such beauty suddenly
Caress everything we see?

It’s brings thoughts to writers
All across the wintry land
It gives poets the exact words
That put a pen in hand

Or a smile upon the face
Of an artist with a brush
As she watches in amazement
Within a morning hush

Or perhaps a photographer
Who puts a camera to his eye
So perfect is the scene
It makes you want to cry

Or for the a simple traveler
Who feels the truth so strong
Enjoying this winter perfection
When it finally comes along!
