Marilyn Lott - Sunset Hours

It’s so beautiful in the evening
When the sun is dropping down
It’s time to stop and ponder
And take inventory, I’ve found

A time to take a deep breath
Thank God for another day
A day’s work now behind me
Or a day of fun and play

Perhaps the day was difficult
Problems surfaced for me
When the sun sets so pretty
I can face them peacefully

In those tranquil sunset hours
Life is calm and I feel free
Ready to face another day
Anything is possible now for me!
