I love how at the end of the day
The sky lights up for me
Colors grace my entire world
Its beauty is astonishing to see

A farmer working long after dark
His horse and plow standing there
You wonder if he’s chatting with God
His hopes and worries he shares

It seems there’s a door opening
To tomorrow for its fresh and new
I know for me there is a promise
I hope it’s the same for you

It’s a time to rest for most of us
Long after the sun sends its beams
So nourishing to our inner soul
Are life-changing sunset dreams!
