Marilyn Lott - Memories

When I look back on my life
I have so many memories
They flash through my mind
It’s astonishing to me

Looking back upon my childhood
My family unit strong
I never ever wondered
Exactly where I belonged

I grew up and got married
Had children of my own
And then grandkids came along
My life seems now on loan

For the sunrises and sunsets
Gives me time to ponder
What will come next for me
A mystery way out yonder

But we take it as it comes
As we sail a life of seas
Looking back it’s amazing
At all those memories!
