A treasure chest of memories I have
As I sit by Lake Overholzer
Go back many years now
And are memories that endure

The sun as it comes up I capture
From my trusty camera lens
Start a chain of wonderful memories
Hope, for me, is what they send

A hope for a new beautiful day
That streams across the lake
It’s spiritual, it’s pure each time
Are the messages that I take

And in the evening hours
As the sun sets every day
I have precious new memories
I wouldn’t have it any other way

I hope you too have memories
That are special, sweet and true
Just like my lake memories
Are part of what makes you you!
