There’s nothing quite so beautiful
As a Montana sunset
The colors so extraordinary
As any you could ever get

Especially the blue shades
So exceptional they are
Amazing swashes of color
As bright as a brilliant star

Somehow they give me solace
To see the dark blue tones
Emptiness just goes away
Even when I feel alone

I can’t think of anything
That gives me more delight
Than our Montana sunsets
That begin the darkened night

They show themselves brilliantly
The colors deep and true
I’ll forever enjoy our sunsets
Especially the blue!
