Marilyn Lott - Blue jay Charm

In my lovely and quaint rose garden
Where my brother’s roses dwell
I decided to build a sanctuary
Where water from his fountain fell

You’ll see a structure with houses
And a hotel for the birds to nest
This summer several families
Picked the one they liked the best

I have a robin roost though it seems
The robins really don’t care
But Blue jays find it the perfect place
With birdseed for them to share

There is a park bench placed near-by
For a wonderful park-like view
Where one can sit and relax
I think you’d enjoy it too

So if you would like to come by
To see my wildlife farm
I’ll pour you a glass of sweet tea
And you can enjoy the Blue Jay Charm!
