Marilyn Lott - Bull Riding Fun

There is nothing more thrilling
Than to watch a dangerous bull ride
One handed the cowboy is
Trying hard to not break stride

But a million things can go wrong
As they’re high up in the air
So that’s why before they ride
They bow their heads and say a prayer

Everyone is waiting in anticipation
The bulls ready for the gate to open
And the cowboy’s are anxious too
Making 8 seconds is what they’re hopin’

Some of the bulls are just going
Through their paces naturally
And others, well, they’re mean
As mean as they can be

The cowboys are hopeful
They’ll match up pretty good
To the bull they’re going to ride
But it’s just a chance that’s understood

So much to do in preparation
But that’s their lives for the most part
It’s something that from a little kid
Just nestles into their heart

I hope you get a chance, folks
To observe an exciting bull ride
There is nothing in the world like it
Watching cowboys and bulls collide!
