In the midst of the holiday season
With Christmas almost here
Do you ever think of spring time?
Amidst the holiday cheer?

For once the year is over
And the New Year arrives
Lovely flowers bud and bloom
Right before your eyes

Future brides are makin’ plans
To walk down that aisle
Beautiful dresses flowing
And everyone with a smile

Lilacs full of fragrance
Beautiful to behold
Children running round the park
Stopped by moms who scold

Oh yes, so many things up ahead
Can’t wait for the summer sun
So much to look forward to
Ah, ain’t we got fun?
