Marilyn Lott - Backyard Visit

I wish this was my backyard
For it’s the perfect place for me
It’s beautiful and quite amazing
And it’s filled with tranquility

There’s a pond with beautiful fish
Swimming amongst lily pads
As I sit and watch the beauty
I am never ever feeling sad

Beautiful fountains too adorn
This backyard and the sound
Of the trickling water so refreshing
Surrounded by a well-kept ground

A quaint little bridge takes me
Right up to the back door
So many unique adornments
For all visitors to explore

It’s truly a place of wonderment
I think you would agree
If this were my backyard
I would invite you to visit me!
