Marilyn Lott - A Boy In Hope

There is a place called Hope, Arkansas
Where a little boy grew up
No one ever dreamed that one day
His name would be on a special cup

At first he was raised by grandparents
They did the best they could
To give this little boy all their love
As all good grandparents would

The home in which he was raised
Was built in the year of 1917
But now a large foundation
Has turned a childhood into a dream

For this little boy as a man became
The 42nd president of the USA
A child who grew up in Hope
Would lead a nation some day!
