Locked myself away from the public eye
Severely I bleed out and for days I'd ached
Could no longer disguise the pain i felt inside
you've broken me with your goodbye

moving on isn't going to come easy
truth is, you didn't genuinely share an interest
Sadly, I wasted valuable energy
when you were simply indifferent

the pain pierced my heart it cut me deep
with all the promises you couldn't keep
those lies i've heard you tell
I can't get out my head but I wish you well

time won't erase what I feel for you
but you don't love me because if you ever did
you wouldn't have walked out my life
you just don't care not as i expected you to
I allowed you to trap me with the words 'I love you'
