These days a good someone is hard to come by
And once you've entered my life again
I believed I found love withyou almost like deja-vu
As I wanted things between us to be serious
But, you've already had a serious relationship
Bet, you've made the promise to never leave
Or hurt this special someone in your life
When you still feel a little something for me
And begin to see a future for us,
I admit having an attraction to you
But, knowing this I won't try anything to end your love affair
Although you seem to not be happy and I'm aware
It's best to break it off then to lead someone on
Of course they might be hurt, better now than to be down the road
Especially if this someone gets attached
If you don't want to be miserable for the rest of your life
Let it go, besides things happens for a reason
You've gotten a second chance with me to make it work
It might be hard at first to accept as with any breakup
Down the road will it be understood that it just wasn't meant
After finding and falling in love with someone new all over again
